Annette has always been driven toward a career in nursing, inspired by the blend of science, human connection, and meaningful patient impact. She began that path early by becoming a CNA in high school, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University, and starting her career in medical oncology. Those formative years shaped her patient-centered philosophy.

She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University, becoming a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Annette then built an extensive clinical foundation as both a Hospitalist and Neurovascular Nurse Practitioner, roles that sharpened her diagnostic skills, clinical judgment, and ability to manage complex, high-acuity cases with precision.

In 2015, Annette blended her medical expertise with her passion for aesthetic artistry and founded Beauty Refined. Her approach centers on restoring and refining natural beauty so clients can truly love their reflection. She believes that when results feel refined, refreshed, and authentically you, confidence rises within, a philosophy that has earned her a loyal following and a reputation for subtle, elegant, never-overdone outcomes.

In 2022, Annette completed a prestigious Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), advancing her expertise in facial anatomy, regenerative aesthetics, and evidence-based clinical protocols. She has served as a national trainer for Galderma GAIN and Prollenium, and as a Key Opinion Leader for Cartessa Aesthetics. Today, she also trains injectors, teaching advanced techniques, regenerative approaches, and clinical excellence.
